Makore II The boat

After years of serious searching, multiple brokers, tours of shipyards and increasing desperation; we discovered Makore II by trying on a whim the French buy and sell website 'Le Bon Coin'. Il y a tout sur Le Bon Coin, as the expression goes. Seriously, whatever you're looking for in France you can probably find it there. It was love at first sight, destiny maybe? This was very obviously the perfect boat for us. Less than a week after that moment the ink was drying on the contract of sale.

Makore II was designed by Fabrice Loranchet and built in Southern Brittany by him and a network of family and professionals. She was launched in 2005, subsequently travelling North to Norway and Spitzbergen, and later to the Carribbean. A similar journey she will make again with her new crew.
